Kids!

My sister Michelle and her husband decided to take a little vacation to Hawaii. They have four kids. Ages 8, 10, 12, and 14. She lives in Saratoga Springs so we watched them for her while they we gone. I got a little glimpse into what our life is going to be like in 10 years or so and we're excited :) Tonight is our first night without them since my sister got back this a.m. Weston already said it was weird not having kids around. We had a bunch of fun with them! They moved up here from Florida about 2 years ago, but had lived there while they were younger. I've always wished they could live closer so we could do these kinds of things. It's easy to take for granted having your family close. Here's a few fun things we did... the pics were taken on Weston's phone, so that's why they're not perfect quality :)

We took Savannah and Zack to Trafalga in Orem. We were just planing to do a round of mini golf with them, but on our way in this guys chased us down and asked us if we wanted his tickets that were unlimited anything... mini golf-indoor and outdoor, batting cages, go kart racing, virtual rides, and arcade games. Here's Weston helping Savannah with her batting skills...

...And here's Zack. He had some power behind his swings! This is Weston and Zack on one of the virtual rides with their 3-D glasses... For FHE I wanted to do some kind of Halloween decoration, so I found this idea on the internet. We had alot of fun doing FHE with kids, it's alot different than just by our selves! They were all so eager to learn and Zack did a great job acting out the scripture story of Enos while Weston read. If you can't tell it's a spider above the doorway :)

Weston found out that we can bowl for cheap at BYU so we took the kids bowling. Gabby and Danielle didn't come because they were doing stuff with their friends. We've all been there when friends are much more entertaining than family :)

Weston won, but Zack came in a close second at only 6 points less then Weston. Let's just say I lost by a few points...the sad thing is we had gutter bumpers and everything...
Weston loves teaching people things. He taught Zack how to play a song and they had fun jamming out! Meanwhile Danielle and I downloaded the best new music including one of my new favorites, the one playing right now...unless your a slow reader, then its already over ;)
Very cute! Well, to sum it up we had tons of fun! Can't wait for our own ;)

Dad had a conference up in Salt Lake a couple of days ago and stopped by. He took us out to lunch! Gotta love him! Thanks dad :)
